The topic of immigration is a difficult one, it tugs on many shirttails. It's a subject that has ups and downs, good and bad, innocent and criminals, and of course the underlying human emotion. It's hard to talk about immigration without human emotion; after all, immigration is about people.

The Florida legislature held hearings to discuss a proposed bill to require abortionists to provide medical care to an infant who survives an abortion. They heard the testimony of a representative for Planned Parenthood who gave their position on the bill. To say that testimony raised a few eyebrows with the legislators and the general public in attendance is an understatement.
